Boat launch she\'s home at last Dotcom gets wet (pics)

A few pics of my Mate's new boat, a Mamum 2900, two V6 beasties providing the horses!

Where's the rest of the pics?

Hopefully more to come if the weather gets better, it was freezing today!
Still, at least his boat is now in the water, and he bought me breakfast! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Then to burn shed loads of fuel!

Thanks for your help today Iain

Great pics, its good to share :-)

Oh lovely Portishead, fairly close to home and used to go there all the time when they had a slipway, just a shame about the mucky brown rough waters of the Bristol channel hey :-)

Have they got the new slipway up and running yet, next to the crane launch?

Si

Yes, slipway is built, but no sure if its in use yet.

Bars and restaurants due to be built later this year /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The benefit for me is 12 minutes from home and no battling to the south coast on a Friday night etc

+only £2000 a year to moor.

Yes, brown water, but I am not getting in it. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Yeah i know what you mean by being local and not having to travel down to the South. For 2 years it was a great place to go as it was so convenient (cheltenham) and cheap as you state but the water and tides were starting to get to me a little but i will return ocassionally once they open the slip. Its been built for about a year now but the last time i looked, there was i'd say an 18" step up to it so no-one could use it.

Thanks for letting me know tho, saves me a trip to check it out /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Have yourself a great time on your new toy,i'll look out for your boat next time i'm down.
