Hello
Simple, cutting and straight to the point, this post, with none of the brackets that I usually use! (well sometimes) (no all the time) (hang on I'm using brackets) (oh well) (now what was I talking about) (oh yes boat insurance)

Does anyone have any great ideas on where to get the cheapest and best boat insurance?

I want a boat!!!.........a nice big one that is really cheap and runs on air.

Depends on what boat (a. you have) (b. where your going to use it) and (c. what sort of cover you want) also (d. do you have any rya qualifications).

But (only if you want) give GJW Direct a call. They did me a good deal, with 30 days in forign waters thrown in at no extra cost, on a fully comp policy. The only answer is (INMHO) to shop around. If you go to the boatshow, the companies normally do a special show offer of some sort (and the young ladies who sort you out are quiet nice as well).

Get a tender its the only legal way to spend time with a couple of 'oars

OK, to hell with it. Unbolt it and we'll use it as an anchor!

EIS, Euromarine Insurance Services in Broadstairs. Top service, excellent rates.

We will sell Navigators and General policy with 100% commission give up.

the only charge £25.00 admin fee

commission 15%

existing nav gen polciies can be transfered into our agency before renewal and get the same deal.

I have been dealing with a surveyor/loss adjuster on an engine job just recently, we spoke about various companies that he deals with, he told me the bad ones that dont pay out very easy which I am not going to print, but the one he said he would use if he had a boat to insure was GJW so its up to you.

Thanks,
I tried all of the above, but due to lack of experince they would not insure me, so I ended up with De Novo Marine. Peters recomended them to me so they should be okay, I hope!
It seems that even if you say you have sailed around the world 5 times you are under experinced.
