Boat Identification/Seagull 3 14ft launch

Found her in the boat park and we thought she looked so pretty we had to rescue her. Paid a hundred quid which included a seized 1983 8hp Yamaha outboard which we have subsequently got going.

She was brought up from the south coast about 12/15 years ago to Burnham on Crouch. Has anyone any idea on her origins?

No idea on her origin! but that looks like a great 100 quids worth of boat

very similar to the small beach boats made in Eastbourne about 50 yrs ago. The bigger boats had an extended deck over the transom, through which the outboard went.

The wide stern ensured that the boat lifted as you drove hell for leather onto the beach when returning.
