Anyone got one? And how does the jury regard them in terms of:
1. Performance cruising
2. Offshore capability
I wouldn't normally ask Q2 about any Ben/Bav/Jen but after seeing a Jenneau 43 here in NZ at the weekend having sailed from the UK it's clearly possible to do it in these things if you plan it correctly.
And is the Beneteau 473 different to the Beneteau Oceanis 473?

Not a lot of experience, but I chartered one for a couple of weeks in 2005. Big ol' AWB to be honest. Fairly smart inside.
Probably not the first boat you'd consider for blue water cruising but, in the fairly sheltered confines of the BVI, performance was pretty good and on the one day there was a bit of a storm and we were beating upwind it felt solid.
