That boat has been mentioned on here several times. A friend of may parents was looking at it earlier in the year - then it was advertised as an Offshore 46. Link is here - in fact, I posted that in November last year, so it has been for sale a long time. Mind you, maybe a bargain can be had?

Cheers Jez,

I see it is the same boat! Given the Market and the time she is on it I think a deal is to be had.

Layout not great, but at £80k offer leaves a few grand to swop things around?

Cheers

Paul

Thanks for thinking of me, I am still boatless, I see a few bargains about and not really sure what boat to go for?

My ideal boat is a trawler but can not see those about at my price range?

Likes the Faroe at the show but could not aford the 42 brand new.

I might start looking at Fairline 40-50 ?
American boats 39 there is one at Medway bridge marina sales.

I will not be able to cope without a boat next year.

Still boat less tom

the Guy Couach 1400 is a fabolous boat and are usually very seaworthy and comforable boats
the Marchi 44 is always a nice example and I really love its exterior design by Yankee Delta which where Paolo Caliari (the man behind Leopards and Mochis) and unfamous Fulvio De Simoni (Pershing, Aicon, Rodman and a million others)
I think the fit and finish and style prefare the Marchi so would start from there

Not sure what your budget is but I can certainly recommend Beneteau Swift Trawler 42. I have new one this season and it is pretty excellent.

hi Divemaster that's a niceboat
and it does look like the Tecnomarine C 55 Maggini
which was designed by Paolo Caliari that is why there the C in front,
basically he made his name end 70s early 80s with Tecnomarine before moving on to Mochi and Arno Leopard
I would not be surprised if it is his job
is that a GRP or a Wooden construction and how does she handle in British Seas?

Hi,...

CM 45 is for Centro Marine Astrale 45, built by Nevio Forcellini Mazzoni ..... now believed to be at Enterprise Marine S.P.A.

Not sure about the actual designer, but she is GRP hull and superstructure. Deep V throughout and 1.58M draft makes her very stable and work very well at sea, admittedly a bit wet. Launched in 1983, with Detroit Diesels onboard and was in one mans ownership until we bought her from Salerno in 2004.

a Grandbanks will always be a timeless boat
I would go for an Europa Model
the thing is these things especially GRP Construcion keep there price up quite well
especially with average sized engines

if you are interested in wood construction have a look at the Partenautica 45 from 1986

if you want to know more send a PM
