Boat electrics document that I can\'t find !!

A few weeks ago someone in response to a post put up a link to an excellent publication that explained basic battery technology, electrics etc...have tried a search and can't find it now....can anyone help ???

Hi,

was it the 12Volt handbook?

or the Alternator Handbook?

I should be able to find a link or have them on disk and can make you a zip file, one is 10 or 12 MB though

I always recommend BOAT ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS by Dag Pike. Adlard Coles
probably about £15 at todays prices in paperback. Gives you all you need to know in words of one syllable. Very easy to follow but does not insult the intelligence of the reader regardless of his or her knowledge.

It might have been the 12v Handbook. It started very simply, appropriate for a mechanical duffer like me, with sketches illustrating the basic differences betweeb Ah and Voltage etc....best I have ever seen...It might have been American. I think it was downloaded on Acrobat.
