boat demand

Yes, I think so Scala
I have been looking at boats from 30 to 300K (for others!!) for about 12 months or more
There is movement across the board
Not 'mental' but more than I thought there would be
In My mid 70's I have seen and been through more than one Recession and I thought {well still think) We were/are in for another
However restricted travel and the 'need' to spend a bit to alleviate 'stir craziness' is having an effect?
Brighter Minds than mine might know the answer!!!

:)

Yes, may well be true.

Well in my own case I decided to press ahead with the purchase of a new boat just as the country was shutting down. Madness some might say, but I can tell you I'm exceptionally excited that handover is finally here (next Friday)...

Pictures please ?

Very sad news Ross. Have you considered dabbling back into marine repairs ?

Actually probably emigrating! Where I may well go back into tinkering with boats as the airline industry is a bit of a mess globally.

Got my valuation done today, and I was very pleasantly surprised - the broker suggested an asking price a full £10k more than the number I had in my head, so that is encouraging and supports this thread.

PS saw Laughing Water on the hard at Bray yesterday.. :)
