Boat Covers and Hoods

My boat needs a new cover/hood and being quoted all sorts of delay times from 3 months upwards.

However, just spoken to Jeckells in Wroxham and they quoted me currently 4 to 6 weeks from payment of deposit which is far and away the fastest service I've been offered.

Andrew will travel as far as Reading if asked and the service I received from him last time when the boat was based at Chertsey was excellent.

We need some repairs doing to our hoods. The chap we generally use who is based in our marina is super busy at the moment so we may not get the repairs done for well over three months. We are willing to wait for him though as his work is very good.

Same for us we have been booked in for a while now. Should be getting done in the next couple of weeks. But three months lead time.

I new I should have paid more attention to sewing lessons in school.

He travelled down to Temple to measure up, adjust and fit 3 times

Fixed our old cobers, new zip etc and made "improved" replica covers in the same canvas
We had two extra zips put in the rear, so we could toll up without taking the whole back cover off (the case with the od one) also courtesy flaps on the side and rear windows
material to match the old. Very pleased and the 6 weeks he quoted he kept to.

Cost was competitive if not cheaper than others
