Can anyone tell me how I am supposed to put the boat cover over my boat and not have it fill up with rain water and split the seams. I've tried every which way but there always seems to be areas of puddles which collect and eventually sag and split.

Is there a technique to this? My boat is fairly flat (6M long) with a small central driving area which is not particularly high. It certainly won't lift the cover into an inverted V thus allowing water to drain from each side.

The cover instructions said pull tight - but again this seems to have still left flatish areas which eventually form and small puddle and then the weight pulls the cover inward.

Thoughts? Advice? Experience?

Adjustable poles?
No one mentioned them!!

So the answer is no, I've not got any. If I get some wood how can I make it stand upright? Won't it just fall over?

the tension of the cover should hold it in place, mine has a female press-stud on the cover and a male pres-stud on the adjustable pole therefore if the cover lifts the pole goes with it

tension the cover against the top of the wooden struts and it should stay up but better still, use poles with a pointy tip and make a hole in the cover for it to poke through using a brass eyelet (cheap kits off fleabay)

but again.. better to get one of these as they are adjustable so you can make the tent shape tighter = better water run off http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgu...e&start=20&um=1&hl=en&sa=N&ndsp=20&tbs=isch:1
