just in the process of starting up my own boat and yacht cleaning service, which to start with will be based aroung the north west of england. At the moment just trying to get an idea of the market and our customer base. Would appreciate any feedback.

Do you mean decks, topsides and interiors, or do you do the hard bit as well?
Lots of people do this around the marinas in the south, it probably has to be marina based to get enough customers close together. I know a few stoodents who do this work sometimes.
you could try the brokerages too, they are often trying to sell boats that need a clean!
