Boat cleaning products required

Hi

I am looking for a decent boat cleaning product which wil help take out ground in dirt etc from the deck and sides of the boat and give it a good shine, can anyone give me some advice which is a good one from their experience

What type of boat are you wanting to clean - plastic or metal I'm dead good with boaty terms

Hi Mark,
We use loads of stuff on our (well Mums) but the best one we have found is Ariel hand wash liquid - funny as it may seem (don't be tight) and it brings the deck up a treat.

Here's one I saw in a chandlery today although I've not tried it or seen others comments on it.

I find this product only cleans small areas, its guaranteed to run out before the boat is finished, rarely meets the required standards and gets very expensive if the whole boat needs doing.

If you need to polish the hull, I recommend Aquabuff 2000.Its what the boat valeters use.
