Boat Breakers?

Hello

I'm new to this site and wondered if any of you out there could answer a question.

Are there such things as breakers yards for boats, like they have for cars? If so, any ideas on where? I'm in London, but not too fussed about travelling.

There is a barge near Portsmouth off the A27 which sells some bits removes from boats some of it is quite old. It is across the road from Aladins Cave I think. Perhaps someone nearer there could give you better details about it. Certainly good for 2nd hand pulpits and pushpits. But I found them pricey for a boom.
