Visited Woods of Crediton yesterday an amazing Aladdins cave of boat bits big and small. Lots of surplus Navy spares and parts gleaned from old boats you name and its there somwhere or other. Most visitors just wandering through 3 floors of jumbled parts both old and new. fairly gob smacking but I have to admit I did not buy a thing

And they are partial to cash, make them an offer and haggle a bit.

I bought some half inch galvanised chain there a few weeks back, cheaper than none galvanised, paid £1-25 per foot, saw same stuff in chandlers last week at £9 per metre!
