Boat Auction

Looking to do another project next year so have been looking for motor boats needing some work, someone mentioned that i might be able to pick something up at an auction, dont seem to be able to find anything so thought I would ask if anyone knows of any auction sites specialising in marine auctions other than ebay

Genuine boat auctions are few and far between. I have run boat auctions at various marinas, usually 50 / 60 craft mostly without reserve. There are bargans to be had ( A Seamaster circa 1980, diesel, with trial - sold £1500). One of the last auctions was at Assured Boating at Egham (Staines)
Most online sites are no more than sales adverts - through dealers or brokers, so no bargains to be had there.

There is currently an early 80's Formula 302 or similar for sale at port solent, should go for almost nothing, have a look here: http://www.boatmadforum.co.uk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2505

I bet quite a few of the guys on this forum know the boat.
