We have a great hook on stainless ladder, great for swimming from as it extends well below waterline. Problem is that 25 mm tubular rungs are a bit hard on bare feet. Any ideas on what to cap them with. Teak with a routed groove on the back was my first thought but I'd like to not add too much weight. A Google search has come up with some plastic clip on treads in USA but nothing UK.
Any ideas
Jim

My ladder has plastic treads. Dunno if you could find something like those that could be modified to fit over the rungs.

It is just a ladder I bought from a local chandlers. Made by Trem ?????????

You might find something if you look at (swimming) pool accessories.

Hi VicS, your photo got me looking at the sea Wych, very popular, but how do you step down from cockpit into cabin, if there is a removable step that's placed in the sink, is it from there onto a bunk. Hope you don't mind me asking, looks like I will be sailing my Pandora 700 due to bad health, my lung cancer has spread.

There is sink edge protector on the edge of the sink to protect it and a loose step between the bunks.

The sink edge could be protected with a wooden batten. The loose step has battens underneath to locate it and stop it sliding sideways.
