Normally reported as either 35hp or 38hp. As far as I am aware, BW made 1:1 and 2:1 boxes, maybe more.

My BMC Captain is reported to be 31hp.

I thought the Captain was 39BHP? Anyhow, check out the gearboxes at Lancing Marine below. BW 71, 71c, 72, 72c. The ratios and variations are listed.
