We have had a BMB 34 for a year and are very happy with her.

We don't have massive experience of other boats but we have been impressed with the sea-keeping and the way she handles.

Fixtures and fittings have also been good - no major problems for us.

I don't think our 34 has been reviewed in any of the boatie mags but am pretty sure there has at least been a brief write-up of the 29.

Hi, I have had my 29 since last year - bought her at the last LBS. As far as sea keeping is concerned, I doubt if there are many sports cruisers to rival. I have 3 children and been out in some real slop, but always felt safe and secure. On better days, she's real fun, planes really quick and digs in for fast tight turns.

As far as fixtures and fittings, I have no complaints so far - if you like what you see at the LBS - then you will be happy.

Jim

why waste money on pretty average craft like Sealine or Bavarian when you can splash out a bit more and get serious sea machine like a Tiara or a Pursuit?

few of them have been reviewed in the mags... Had a look at SBS, but perhaps that was unfair to do so after the Windy. I know price and build quality go hand in hand, but considering this was a showboat I was amazed how sloppy it was.I couldnt help thinking of out on a nice hot day, your big toe was going to get severed on the knuckle of the brass hinge that was sticking up right in the middle of the cockpit decking. That sort of thing just seemed too stupid. But the 25+29 seemed to get praise in the reviews for fun boats that were competitively priced. Just if i proudly went to collect my new boat and it looked like a child had done the mastic and caulking running everywhere, then Id be a tad upset just a tiny bit more care couldnt have been taken to make a so much better impression. But perhaps it was just a lousy example, which would be a shame

Talking of Windys I looked at a couple of years old 31 Tornado and I have to say the gel coat wasn't too smooth. Bit lumpy for something that's on the expensive side.
