Hi I will need to join a yacht club in the north east, I live 9 miles north of Amble and was going to use the marina there for at least the first year,When I buy my first boat Any suggestions as to which club to join???

I don't know the clubs locally but I imagine they'd all be interested in a new member. There's the RNYC at Blyth, but sounds like Amble would be more convenient for you.

Now that would be an ECF cruise - up to Amble and the Coquet river.
Don't know the clubs up there but I grew up in Morpeth as a kid and know the inland areas pretty well. Also try asking on the main scuttlebutt forum I know there are some guys in the north east that post on there.

Hi We went into Blyth and also Amble on our trip this year. Both VERY friendly places. The Y.C in Blyth made us most welcome. IIRC there is more room in Blyth.
