Hi all still after a Catamaran the search is getting thined down a bit, it seems at the moment our favorites are Catana 411 or poss 39. or Lagoon 41 or poss slightly smaller. ??
Any thoughts or any body know someone who's selling.
cheers.

HI - The Catana is a more high tech boat than the others you mention and you should consider this in terms of ongoing maintenance costs once you have the boat. To be hones, I think that the Lagoons / Fontaine Pajot's and so on are a much of a muchness in terms of what they delivey and the quality that they delivery.

The Robertson & Caine catamarans suffer from very low slam boards. This is great for interior space, not so good when sailing.

Privilege's although worth a look and if you wanting something with a bit more go, then consider some of the Edel cats, a brand where you might lose a little on the accommodation but gain a lot on performance.

Talk to Mark or Rebecca at MultiHull World, they've got quite a few cats on their books at the moment in your price range which I think was £150K?

Tell them 'Troutbridge' gave you the number and I might get my single-line reefing a bit cheaper /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hi Troutbridge I have spoken to them and they tell me that you are on commision or something along the lines of (the cheque is in the post) Just out of interest which Broadblue did you get and what is the performance like. Oh and dont forget to give us a shout when your passing.

BB 385. She goes well. I'm leaving Poole for Gurnland on Thu, stopping overnight in Alderney, then catching the tide down the Swinge. Be in G'Land for about a week then heading South. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Hey Troutbridge

We've seen & recognised a forumite's boat on the water for the first time! Passed you in Poole Harbour on Sunday while you were anchored off Brownsea Island - thought I recognised the name /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Seemed to be a bit of a cat haunt there - is it particularly good or was it just coincidence that there were several large cats in the same place??

We snuck further in to hide from the gales....
