Can anyone advise where to purchase single lamp recessed Blue LED light fittings please (the type installed by Fairline , Sealine or similar) been trawling the web and can't find exactly the correct product. Thanks Ian

guess it depends whether you are looking for 'marine' versions together with their price tag.

If not then many kitchen suppliers (e.g. B+Q) are now offering them as an option, there are also lots of LED products on ebay. The DIY stores also offer stainless exterior LED lights, I doubt they are 416 but ould be ok inside.

Most of those would probabley be supplied with a 240v power supply, so have to check what voltage the actual light units are designed to run at.

I got some from B&Q about two years ago. 240volt supply but 12volt out of the transformer. Not 216 stainless but a quick rub with polish every 6 months sorts it out. I paid about £50 for 16 LEDs. Chandlers want about £35 each and they're not stainless just Crome plated plastic which corrodes in no time.

I think the ones that fairline use come from Hella Marine.

I fitted blue LED's a while back - got them from a company called Timage who specialise in marine fittings. Google should bring them up - wouldn't advise the B&Q route as they won't be marine grade and will probably corrode. Worth spending the extra pennies IMHO.

The ones fitted in current Fairline are Hella. All listed on Hella's site. There are two types: (a) round ones fitted aftwards in Fairlines, about 60mm dia, and (b) little ones fitted along the side decks that shine down, rectangle shape with rounded ends. Very approximately, £20 each. Which type do you want?

If you want a (b) I can post you a couple (next week, as I'm in France currently) FOC if you PM me an address. If you want an (a), I'm not sure if I have one but will check today

I bought a few spares, and am now selling the boat. The Hellas have been so reliable I didnt need the spares. Hence I'm happy to send you a couple FOC
