I'm off skiing this weekend in France and the weather forecast for the resort is 21deg until Sunday, then it's going 25!!! Anybody tried down hill water skiing?

Know the feeling. We went to Italy a few years back and they were wearing shorts on Christmas day it was so warm. Good drinking weather though, we had a great holiday.

All the way to France when you have the unrivalled facilities of the Strood Alps at Diggerland?
It beggars belief!
You even have the high class facilities (just off piste) of a luxury eating establishment within a ski poles distance, and you want to jet off and mix with Johnny Frenchman!

I am only one junction up the M2 away from diggerland. have looked at the place a couple of times and only seen the smallest amount of snow. Bloody expensive too.

Ahh.. but so much more than just diggers, we were floating past there the other day and they had really pushed the boat out (sorry) and there appeared to be some homicidal maniac driving round in a 4X4 taking the punters on an "adventure of a lifetime".I think he drove along the ruts next to the barely covered in snow slope.
Then you can repare to the luxury of McDonalds, eh, eat your heart out France.

Japanese snow's no good over here, we want good old British snow.

Tough luck, we went to Switzerland last weekend and it was just perfect. Loads of the white stuff, snowed both nights, sunny both days and about 0deg max. Could'nt have asked for anything better except banning those bar stewards on snowboards. I wonder if the same people that do snowboarding also have PWC's.
