I spent two painfull hours squashed in a hole down the side of my port side engine changing the allegedly knacked water pump, (domestic water)
it wasn't.... bloody tank pickup blocked..... aaaahhhhhh.

Think you need to get back in there with a tape measure, looking at the prices online of 'well known manufacturer' the cost should be far less than discussed yesterday.

You may need to combine with trip with car to save on shipping costs??

Yes, they do seem intend on bending one over with the price.....
I have looked at a n other firm, and a quarter of quoted yesterday...

To be fair to the bloke he did say he was not sure on prices and probably was thinking more bespoke made to measure prices.

Have a look at their website as they have tanks that sound like what you described size wise and if you lose a few litres but save £100's i know which option I would be taking.
