This morning at 05:30.
We were on the mooring and had just got back to sleep after the lightning has passed by. As may be expected I leaped from bed expecting to see the tender had been ripped from alongside... Or another boat had been hit by another boat.
I ran headlong into the door, (we have a sliding patio door) resulting in a nasty cut to my face.
When I got outside it turns out the bang was a telegraph pole hitting the port bow on the ebb tide. I have reported it to CHA. But until it is collected there remains the chance of someone collecting it.
