Blasted by over force 9 winds

Following from my last posting from Malta .
Here an interesting bit of info .
Over the last 24 hours we been hit with winds over 65/70 plus and the mother of all thundstorms last night .
although now the wind is slowly starting to drop still getting over 40 MPH at times .
It's been a very comfortable time in Msida Marina , it's been rocky at time but nothing like we expected .
I hope everyone in Licata and Ragusa haven't had it too bad , looking at the weather they where hit with the same winds .

On BBC it reports that Malta's (well Gozo's) equivalent of Durdle Door has been blown away

Here in Rhodes I saw 50 kts on the wind indicator from the SE, guess it was the tail end of your storm.
