Blankenberge Harbour entrance and part of the old harbour are being dredged again. Despite dredging before the season, a dangerous shoal had formed in the entrance channel. That is being removed again. The dredger can be contacted on VHF channel 10.
How long the depth will be ok again, is anybody's guess. Blankenberge should not be considered an all-tide harbour, unlike the other harbours on the Belgian coast.
