Absolutely amazing weekend to have been out on the water.
Family and I left London early morning on saturday... was a bit apprehensive to go at first as it was all so last minute, and I could not for the life of me find the damn bung! Spent 45 minutes searching for it - decided to go anyway in the hope of finding a suitable bung somewhere local. Luckily the chandlery at Burnham yacht harbour had the perfect one, for only 3 quid! Was relieved when it threaded in perfectly!
Launched at the slipway at Bradwell marina, and spent most of the time around Osea island and St. andrews bay. Water was super calm till late sunday afternoon.
Lots of people out enjoying the water and the sunshine.
We were only going to go for saturday, but couldn't resist another day, and after all the B&Bs were booked up, we decided to moor up at Bradwell marina for the night and we drove home to sleep, and returned sun morning.
All in all was a fantastic time - I prefered it to Poole harbour as it seems less busy and more space for skiing and opening the taps a bit.
