Blackwater Country Show

Last Weekend I attended the excellent Blackwater Country Show and apart from one, soon over downpour, the weather was fine while out at sea it was blowing like a good un I heard.

The show can be accessed by a good walk along the wall from Heybridge Basin so next year why not plan your trip there to coincide (June 23rd I think). There were plenty of on water activities to keep both young and old amused in the showground lake and representatives from the following, to name just a few were in attendance:

Blackwater Sailing Club

Sailingmiles.com
Maldon Model Boat Club
Neucleus Watersports

I could not get there this year, but I usually go. I agree with you, it is always a good do and worth going to, but I don't know about the "Little", we usually spend all day there!
