OK, thats it! I have had enough.

After being let down with my engine fitting for Saturday the 9th, I was told by the dealer that I could be fitted in at the back end of this week. I have been away on business until today, and expected the dealer to call me on the mobile to confirm a new fitting date/time etc. Not a dikie-bird!

Fortunately, I did not leave a deposit!

So, Marinetech of Talke Pitts in Stoke-On-Trent, you had your chance, and you have blown it! Pity realy, he was a nice friendly guy and very helpful.

So what are you having fitted Dave, and what's up with your current Suzi 55.

If you really get stuck, then bring new engine and boat to Porthmadog over the coming week and I will help you install. I fitted my last Suzi 100 to my Shakespear - along with a number of different motors for various people.

PM me if you need a hand, I'll be there from Thursday 21st to Sun 31st. Bit busy with yacht club regatta and all - but we can fit it in.

Nothing up with the 55, thats what I had bought off Marinetech and was waiting to have fitted.

Breaking news though, I have found a Suzuki 65, PTT, in just as good condition with all clocks and only slightly more dosh. It needs a carb acoustically cleaning, but the dealer recons this will have been done by Friday. Fingers crossed!!!

My withdrawal symptoms are getting bad! I visibly shake and sweat each time I see some lucky swine on the water! Or is it the beer?

You can forget the fishing and go skiing instead! Good luck with it - Suzi's are good solid reliable pieces of kit.
