First time on the boat at the weekend .. 12 weeks old .. Took her about 5 minutes to find the warmest place on the boat and the best place to get dry after a walk in the rain ..

What a brilliant weekend we had on the boat. Meg was so settled. We made her a bed in the forepeak which she loved. On Sunday afternoon she sat in the cockpit with me, in the sunshine, and found a corner to sun herself in. I cannot believe how good a 12 week old puppy could be. I thought she'd be all over the place, trying to climb off the boat and having to be on the lead in the cockpit. We're down again in two weeks, just so she doesn't forget about the boat. The next test will be when we go out and of course after that, when we get the sails up! We still haven't sorted what to do about the dog's heads, but I'm sure it will all be ok.
