Anybody know if or where it is possible to obtain a replacement compass for a pair of Tasco binoculars

Are you looking for a replacement due to a bubble in the current one ? I had this with a pair of Monk bins. They were repaired quickly by the manufacturers at a quite economical cost IIRC.

You may find that your Tasco bino is identical ( or so similar as to make no difference ) to the current Bushnell compass bino. Does yours have the distance off scale round one front lens? The compass unit is likely to be made by Suunto but you must get the right size replacement. Monk Optics might be able to help but I don't think they handle repairs since Stu retired. Bushnell in the UK are handled by J J Vickers. Their address etc can be found on www.actionoptics.co.uk 'Useful Names & Addresses' page. I have one spare one left but it is in a green housing - if you can't get a clear one then you are welcome to the green one.
