I have an enormous amount of stuff on my binnacle, and can see no way of stuffing the wiring down the 2 poxy 15mm tubes that Jeanneau build into the pedastal tubes.
I am particularly worried about the radar plugs, which are thicker than my...well you get the idea. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
I have Wind, Log, Depth Navman, ST4000 Wheelpilot and JRC1800 Radar/Plotter, and a Repeater Navman down at the chart table.
I am thinking of having a large stainless tube running from the underside of the pod to the deck, and then through it. Obviously I want to avoid unsoldering/resoldering plugs, as that makes the system unserviceable.
Someone must have done this. Any ideas?

Thanks again

...and all the items you have mounted on your binnacle have a compass safe distance of a few centimeters?

I cannot help with the problem but it seems to me that you are going to know this boat inside-out by the time of your first voyage. It took me a couple of minutes to find the mains power inlet last week-end on my newly launched AWB.

I just moved the power inlet plug today from its unsuitable position in a very wet area.... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
