Binder for Reeds Almanac

I bought a used Reeds Looseleaf Almanac and the binder was falling apart. The binders are based on American paper size and are hard to get in the UK. Force 4 Chandlers sell a replacement (must be ordered) but I found a Set of 4 Binders on Ebay and I squeezed the almanac into 3. The UK is split into 2 binders and the rest of Northern Europe goes in the 3rd.

I tried those loose leaf ones years ago. Never again! The sheets seemed to tear out as you turned them.

I found I had an old 3-ring photo album which does the job adequately.

Slightly off topic but am I right in saying the channel almanac has reverted to the spiral binding?

appreciate the rocks don't move much and lights & first aid haven't changed, but does a 5 year old almanac warrant new ring binders

I gave up with the ring version a few years ago as the binders are rubbish. I love the concept if only they would get their finger out and source decent binder.

I wonder if we could come up with a design with a couple of sheets plastic and a few U bolts that would fix the problem in true PBO style.
