Hi i have posted this on the WOA forum as well. I wonder if anyone with a Berwick would be kind enough to take some measurements for me. My boat is currently on the hard at Port St. Louis. We traveled down through the canals last year. What a great experience, i can thoroughly recommend it.
I meant to take the measurements before we left, but as always there were a thousand and one jobs to do, and hands up I forgot. We are currently landlocked in London.
I have decided to order a Bimini, to save us baking in the Med sunshine.
1 So what i need is the width of the cockpit. From the centers of the cleats the ones just behind the jib sheet winch's.
2 The maximum clearance between where the main sheet attaches to the boom and the bulkhead where the companion way opening is.
3 And finally the height from the same cleats in 1 to the underside of the boom, in it's approximate sailing position.
thanks in advance.
