Bilge pump advice needed

My Mac has a strange narrow bilge section in the engine bilge under the prop shaft that a normal pump won't access resulting in a permanently wet area that has a narrow access . Despite my best efforts I can't seem to cure the cockpit leaks into the bilge and would like to find a bilge pump that will lift from about 8 inches down via a tube . It's only about half a bucket full but it's really annoying . Currently I use an oil vacuum pump to extract it manually but would either like to automate it via an automatic system or at least have it switch operated . The access is about 3 inches across by 4/5 inches long and narrows as it goes down . Anyone any suggestions .

Look for a diaphragm pump, such as are used in pressurised water systems on boats as these are also called self priming..

You can get small lift pumps use in air conditioning equipment that will self prime and use small tubing, will not move great volumes but worth a look. I’ve seen 12v dc ones in the past.
