Hi everyone, thank you so much for your generosity in December, it really is greatly appreciated by all those involved in the Charity Bike Ride and very quickly helped raise the £350 required to enable me to obtain a matched donation from Vodafone :encouragement:. If you're thinking "what the heck is Gary on about!!!" please take a look here http://www.ybw.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?91-YBW-Charity-Cycle-Ride-for-British-Heart-Foundation for details of the YBW Forum Charity cycle ride, we're always on the look out for new riders and supporters so if you have a New Year resolution to lose a few pounds, please consider joining us and raise a bit of cash for the British Heart Foundation in the process :encouragement:

As mentioned above, the company I work for (Vodafone) will match donations up to the value of £350 each quarter so this post is your January to March request that you consider donating to the event via this Just Giving page. https://www.justgiving.com/teams/BikeForCharity scroll down to see the team member pages that you can donate through and remember, you can also donate by txt message up to the value of £10, instructions on how to do so can be found by following this link: http://www.ybw.com/forums/showthread.php?415426-Donate-through-Text-Message

You can donate via any of the team members page of course but to get the £350 match it needs to be via mine. That said, please don't let that stop you donating to another team member as it all goes to the same cause and contributes to the team total.

Thanks again. I know you've probably had it said a hundred times already this year but I'm going to say it again, Happy New Year to you all. A massive thanks in advance should you decide to dig deep and donate and thank you again to those that have already

Gary, when are we going to see you, debs and cally on the water again, I know there's a beer n Natter in the offing but get yer butt down her for a brewski

Soon buddy. On the boat at the moment giving the green lumps a service. We're having an extension done this year so that's going to take up a good few weekends mind you so we'll have to make the most of each weekend we manage to grab on the boat.

easily combined, use the boat to take the bike to far off places and then explore them on the bike... I'm inputting courses to the Garmin 810 that include real ale pub stop off points on route ;)

thinking the same, a cycle ride around the island is on the cards for the start of May as part of the training...

edited to add that we stayed a few days in Southsea last year and cycled around Langstone harbour and back to Southsea on the Hayling ferry, finishing with beer and a curry in the Bombay Bay, the weather helped but an amazing day.
