Biggest Mosquito

It is getting on for 4 a.m. and here I am writing on the Forum. The reason I am up is because a Mosquito the size of a Tarantula was buzzing around and I swatted out at it.
The cat howled and ran from the room, Bonzo started barking and I woke up. To find I had swatted the bedside cabinet across the room sending everything flying everywhere.

Reminds me of when friend swatted a mosquito on his lounge wall, this set off the burgular and fire alarm. The service provider called his house to say the fire brigade were on the way. he tried to tell her there was no fire but she said she could not cancell the call. We could hear the fire engine but they could not find his address!!!!!! So he jumped in his car to go look for them and lead them back to his place, so they could check and end there 'shout'. They didn't know how to turn off the burgular, so it took another hour to contact a service engineer and get it silenced. We were not flavours of the neighbours.

Had a bat in the bedroom last week. Not the easiest of mammals to catch, the thing circled and circled at great speed non stop. In the end we fooled its radar with the pool net. Whilst the net was effective we sadly lost many of the trouble and strifes ornaments/nick nacks etc. etc. etc. so sad
