I usually check prices with different suppliers as they are often quite different, but I was pleasantly shocked at the price difference here!
£820 worth of tinned oceanflex cabling from 12v planet was £520 for the same stuff from Altecautomotive here.

Thats huge! On the subject, Marine electricals were very good for cable lugs.

More beer money for you.

Just to add, I did use 12v planet for busbars, midi fuses and various solar attachment bits, and paul rainbow of this parish for the lifepo batteries & victron chargers.
Just need to find a good agm engine & windlass battery now and I can stop spending and start fixing in the next week or two.

Yeah, 12v Planet is fine for browsing and buying odds and ends, but it's worth looking elsewhere for big purchases. I bought my Oceanflex battery cable from Marine Electricals and it was SO much cheaper.

Or if you're in Portsmouth, you can pop in to Furneaux Riddall and it's this price per metre...

Even cheaper if you buy a 30m or 100m reel..
Oceanflex Multi-Core Tinned Copper Cables

and I'd always get cable lugs from the same place I bought the crimp tool... for precise compatibility..

Furneaux Riddall (no connection) also sell crimp lugs individually.

I bet Farnell have the same specification too, but they don't have this brand, I find. They're always my first stop and I wouldn't be surprised to find them cheapest, but their site is a little fiddly to search, Massive selection though and, although the filter tools are complex, they do allow you to find exactly what you want.
