The above virus had attacked my P.C and decoded my Address book on Outlook Express and unbeknown to be sent off bank of emails.
This worm came in on a attachement from second hand sails.
Anyone who has in the last 3 weeks received such email I suggest they do a full scan to rectify and repair their system.
It has taken me half a day to repair the damage to my files.

It seems that almost anyone can get in to your Outlook address book and do things with it. It's just a function of how lousy the Micrsoft security is. But then as Microsoft don't care there is little incentive for them to improve their products.

In the meantime, beware Hotmail, their terms and conditions give full intellectual property rights on anything you transmit via Hotmail to Microsoft, including the right to charge you for the use of your own intellectual property. (To be fair, when this was publicised recently Microsoft announced that they didn't really mean that, it was just the way they had worded their terms and conditions of use.

Roll on LINUX.
