Beta 20 engine mounts

Had to remove my Beta 20 engine the other day for access and when I put it back in I could not help but notice the engine moved back and forwards more than I’d realised. Id not had any vibration problems prior to this but the engine sits with all the mounts leaning backwards. If I push the prop it moves forwards a good couple of inches.
So I think it’s pretty clear they are done as there is little rigidity in any of them.
What not managed to identify is what size to replace them with. Wondered if anyone else has recently replaced such mounts for a beta 20. Like most things should have kept one to measure but alas they are a long way away.
Any suggestions appreciated.

Something seriously wrong with your "couple of inches" estimate. Physically impossible to move the whole drive train that far because there is not enough normally clearance between the prop and the aft bearing. +/-6mm is the rule of thumb limit, although a Beta should not move anywhere near that amount, maybe half, that is, hardly noticeable.

However they do sound knackered if the engine sits back on the mounts and they were installed in the correct position.

The bearing is flush so the prop has a lot of clearance. Defiantly need replacing I’m sure.

I got mine from Beta. Seemed easier to replace like for like. Expect to have to realign the engine - mine were compressed by over 5mm and one was part sheared.

The clearance should be +/- 15mm to allow the small amount of fore and aft movement while still allowing water to exit the stern tube.
