Beta 16 Marine Panel

The engine in my small boat is a Beta Marine 16 hp. It runs well so no issues there. However the panel has 4 lights, the 4th light (green) is illuminated whilst the engine runs - is this normal? If it helps it’s marked withe a zig zag flash but I don’t know what that indicates! Engine has recently been serviced.

I thought this meant the alternator was actually charging on my 16 , but I was corrected on this forum.The green light simply means there is power being provided to the panel so is normal.

Yes normal. Goes on when the engine starts and off when it stops. When I asked why the somewhat flippant answer was to tell you the engine is or should be running - but that is how it is.
