Best way to dispose of engine

My boat Marihøna had a 1974 MD3B for about 40 yrs, a good old motor which I really liked.
Unfortunately it eventually died when the seals in the timing driven sea water pump wore out, and it pumped salt water around the engine lube channels, knackering everything. Spare parts are an extortionate nightmare if you can even get them, and an overhaul was not merely expensive but basically impossible. Got a nice Beta now!

Its srapped down on a pallet, and fluids drained
I got an MD1 from London to Scotland West Coast for about £70 a few years ago - if it fits on a half size pallet it is cheaper
Courier loaded into his van and unloaded at the other end

This engine can be loaded by the marina telehandler

Think it was fuel in the oil, as the oil didnt go milky just a grey colour

Have posted it on facebook - and will see what happens

Beta 30 ordered as replacement

eBay is a pain now. Heavily weighted towards the buyer may not matter how well you describe the faults plus you have to have a connected bank account.

I haven't sold on eBay for years.

As others have said Facebook market place- Yachts and Yatchy bits, Appollo Duck is something like £9 for a basic ad, Boats and Outboards as others have said, or maybe an in the For Sale section here if the maximum allowed price is acceptable (I don't know what it is now).
