Best way from Preveza to Lefkas.

Joscelyn and I are flying out to Preveza on Sunday, and (hopefully) having a week of sun and relaxtion in Lefkas.

What's the best mode of transport for getting from the airport at Preveza to Lefkas Town: hire a car, taxi, bus, WHY?

Taxi - charge about €40 or bum a ride with one of the charter company's buses.

I'm flying in on Sunday myself on the 05:45 out of Gatwick and my van is parked in Aktio Yard. If you want to split a taxi to the Yard ( €20 ) I'll run you down to Levkas. Just need to be sure I can get my hands on the keys first.

Well there's a coincidence.....we're on the same flight (LLC 175).

Sounds like a perfect arrangement, except that we'll pay for the taxi.

I hitched once 20 odd years ago. Only problem was it was on the back of a motorbike with a large kit bag over my shoulder

There's a regular bus service from the airport to Lefkas town. Takes about 45min if I recall. Cheap, comfortable and air conditioned. I don't think there are hire cars at the airport.
