Best value windvane?

I'm on my second SeaFeather, having used other types. I don't know enough to offer an opinion to others about others, but the Mister Vane design has its adherents. Further, now it seems to be going out of business, its last lot of stock is being sold 'as a discount'....

Mr. Vane just does not sell well enough to justify this effort and expense. So with a bit of sadness, I am announcing that the current Mr. Vane self steering system as a product will seize to exist when the current stock runs out.

To be clear, the Mr. Vane legacy of light weight and sensitive self steering will carry on, as will service for existing Mr. Vane systems, even the xprmntl models.

The last Models of Mr. Vane will be sold at a discount, with delivery starting in July. If you would like to make use of this discount, the systems can be ordered now for eu 712.50 including VAT, ex shipping.

To me, that seems cheap.
