Flights are pretty sparse in the winter from UK to Dalaman/Bodrum and ridiculous prices are quoted by the various search engines unless you go with the golfers to Antalya
has anybody cracked it for months january february march and early april?
eg Turkish Airlines ,broomstick, magic carpet? or beam me down Scotty

If you can't fly direct, go into Istanbul first with easyjet?, if you plan it right, it's well worth a stop over! Connecting/ internal flights are very cheap at any time of the year, around 50TL each way to get from Istanbul to Antalya.
Pegasus fly direct to the UK, as do THY and Fly Thomas cook.
Internally, Pegasus, THY, ONUR air, Atlas, Anadolujet . . . it's quite a big list.

Worst case, get the bus, they all have video games/tv/dvd etc, with waiter service.

Depending on the day of the week you want to travel, Pegasus or THY are by far the best connections through either Istanbul airports. I have done this trip most weekends since September and it works fine, average cost around £120 one way but you can get it considerably cheaper if you book with lots of notice. Direct flights will start up again in the spring.

Dalaman

Like you I have looked hard to find the fastest/cheapest way to get to Dalaman in winter. The problem being the long wait time at Istanbul Ataturk airport.
I'm flying out with Pegasus at the end of this month from Stansted on a flight which is bound for Cyprus but stops at "Istsanbul SAW" airport and then a connecting flight to Dalaman. Cost is £220 return and 'wait time' at SAW is 2.5hrs going and 1 hr on the return leg so not too bad.
I will be driving in spring which will probably take a little longer!

Bodrum not Dalaman

Hi All, I want to travel to Bodrum in early December. Are the connections to Bodrum similar to Dalaman. Is it possible to fly to Kos then ferry across to Bodrum during the winter.
Thanks in anticipation RPP

Winter Ferry Schedule - Kos

RPP - Not sure about your timing but Kos to Bodrum ferry is on winter schedule.
In fact, It's a Bodrum ferry that is the only one running - if my memory is right
it leaves Kos in late afternoon / early evening and returns the next am

AtlasJet does have some good fares especially with an early booking Istanbul IST airport to Bodrum
