Best places for boat work in/near Greece?

I’m looking at buying a sailboat in Corfu Greece and would like to make some upgrades on it to set up for long distance cruising such as:
- Stainless steel solar arch, panels, charger etc
- Install water maker

Does anyone have any suggestions for best/cheapest place for solar & water maker install?

Keen to consider things like cost, ease of delivery, VAT/Import Taxes, expertise to consult on electrical setup etc

I don't know the answers but wondering if you are buying the boat near Gouvia? We are planning to buy a boat there too in a couple of weeks.

The skills to do that sort of work are available in Corfu and just down the coast in Preveza or Levkas. The challenge is finding somebody who will actually do what they say they will do at an agreed price. When I had my boat there it was looked after by Bob at Bob's Yachts who was able to organise any work he could not do himself with reliable people.
