Well after 4 years we have decided to trade-up from our S23 to somthing about 30 foot or so.
We will be buying second hand so a trade-in is out of the question so we need to sell the current one first.
the boat is in Cardiff so a little off the beaten track but I am still consdiering using a broker (value is aroung £35K so still quite a significant transaction) and am in 3 minds about using a local broker, a big name like Ancasta or new technology like Boatshed and was after your thoughts
As for the new boat suggestions welcome (I'm bracing myself!)
-we have a budget of c 80K
-Would like 2 cabins
-Easy side deck access (The wife/crew is not that mobile)
-Better sea keeping
-Ultimate speed less important than ability to make good headway in moderate conditions
-confidence for sea passages
-Saloon on main deck level
-nice to have is 2 engines and a flybridge
So far we are thinking Beneteau S9 or 9.8, Jenneay MF9.25, earlier Failine etc
