best place to sell boat in Europe

Hi there Folks
Another thing you may be able to help me on. A mate of mine has got a gib 304 built in 97 which is currently based in gib. She was going to be sailed to Palma in Mallorca but he has been told that although that is a good place to buy but not sell due to sheer numbers of boats being sold there where should he sell it?

highest prices for second hand boats are generally here in the UK (from reading the mags), but its usually the case that a brand of boat gets a good price in its homeland. Moody's good here, Ben's in France etc.

Avoid the sort of place where people have taken a boat on their great adventure or retirement cruise, got fed up, cant be bothered to bring it home and are selling it where it is.
