Not me selling it!!!

A work colleague is trying to sell the family folkboat as they just don't have time to look after her. But he's advertised in all the usual national places and has got very little response. Not a bad little boat, built locally in the 60's and has all the required equipment (is currently afloat). But if you were selling such a boat, where would you advertise it?

Wooleyhatter is asking all sorts of questions on PBO about refitting a Folkboat . Maybe your friend could save him a lot of expense

She's already listed on apolloduck, very little uptake. The price is already so low that he's not going to pay commission for somebody else to sell it. Most of the inquiries seem to be fender kickers or dreamers. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

For what it is worth I have had my wooden boat up for sale for about eighteen months and have had a multitude of replies trying to con me out of cash but only a handful of people really interested. There seems to be no market at all for wooden boats at the moment. Kala Sona has to go by the New Year or else!
