I want to sell an unused Horizon HRO Seafari 170 Watermaker. Its 230V input and produces about 26 litres per hour. eBay seems to be awash with domestic filtration systems and so I would welcome anyone's advice on where best to advertise this kit. I would guess that it's appeal will be more to anyone routinely running a gen-set so larger yachts or powerboats.
Thanks

If you advertise it as a yacht desalinator on eBay on their yachts and sailing area, it'll find folks searching for what you're selling as opposed to all the aquarium stuff. Selling it as an auction item with a sensible reserve price but a low start will help it attract attention and bidders. Using a reserve price will also mean it won't go for less than you're looking for but may attract a better price than you'd think.
