Hi,
I have my sailing yacht at Cardigan at the moment, not very happy as have had hardly any use out of it due to the bar, only time can take it out is on a spring tide, plus the bar makes things bumpy if the wind is coming from the west, also once you pase the bar your commited, there are no safe shelters near by if you miss the tide coming back. Overall its a bleak situation, if the weather is great the tide is too low, if the tide is a spring tide the weather is terrible, I would like to move somewhere else, Im thinking of Fishguard, Millford haven, or even better Saundersfoot, but I understand they have a waiting list at Saundersfoot. My first choice would be Fishguard, does anyone know the cost per year for a mooring? In lower town. And can we get out other then waiting for a spring tide? I have a 2 foot 10 in draft.
